JOE

The event that I been hearing so much about every time I seem to turn on the TV has been the Joe Paterno scandal.  The article that I looked up talks about how it seemed he didn’t do enough to stop what was going on with his staff. Even though Joe didn’t interact with the sex scandal he and his staff became fired. From my perspective he should have did more because he is like the head poncho around Pen State.  Now from this dilemma his legacy for what he has done for his school will be overshadowed, by the scandal with him and his staff. Any real man would have stepped up and said something about grown men playing with little boys. I respected Joe for all of his accomplishments at Pen State for making his school a football power house. The community around Pen State I think will not be the same and really do not have a hero or icon to look up to any more. This is not the first time this year a Power house football team has had a scandal that blew up this year. Power houses such as the USC scandal players taking money while going to school. These days more and more things like this are coming up and it shows that the world around us is corrupted. Who can you trust? Is the question that seems to come up now days when people who you look up to are really terrible people. Whatever the case maybe  the reality of it is the world is a place of shame and deceit
